The wireless dream
Since I got the HTC dream, I’ve been thinking of cool things to write for it. One thing that would absolutely awesome is if I can sync my Zune with the android phone. So far, I love my Zune and it’s got WIFI, and I could root the Android phone and set up a access point on it. Most people do the latter because they can to be able to get to the internet from another device via the Android phone’s EDGE/G3 connection. I don’t want to get into the discussion on whether this is ethical or not, I simply want to share some media files in between the Zune and the Android. This new “Doubletwist” software might be the answer I need. Although they currently don’t support the Zune sync, but I bet it’s coming soon. This software effectively addresses the grown difficulty for music/video owners with multiple devices. With one software that can sync with all of these devices, proprietary syncing software can all be thrown out of the window, literally.
With “DVD Jon” as one of the founders, this could be a company to watch.
